Lynn New lives on the Isle of Wight, working from home, close to the sea. It is an idyllic situation and encourages the creative brain which is inspired by such natural beauty.

Lynn has been writing poetry and illustrating her own work for several years, since making her home on the Isle of Wight. Born on Jersey, where she returned to undertake her nursing career, she has also lived on Guernsey and in Bedfordshire.

Lynn suffered a history of ill health which, far from being a handicap, allowed her to view life sympathetically and gave her time to express her thoughts in creative work. She is a keen observer of life, its realities and emotions, and her original poetry has been available in book form for some time.
